You'll find virtually every kind of ethnic restaurant within London, but few boast the zest and stylishness of this re-creation of a palace within the medina at Marrakech. Each of the two dining rooms is outfitted with Bedouin colors, rich upholsteries, flickering candles, and belly-dancing music. You'll enjoy regional specialties that were once sampled only by cherished royal-family guests. Examples include a crispy lamb salad with pomegranate and mint, grilled sea bass with warm hummus and parsley salad, chicken merguez (spicy sausage) with a coriander tagine, and chargrilled skewered chicken with green-chile salsa. And if you have a fondness for couscous, you'll have at least three different kinds to choose from.

Main courses £9.75-£17 ($16-$27).Open: Mon-Sat noon-3pm and 6-11pm; Sun 5:30-10pm.Reservations recommended.Credit Cards: AE, DC, MC, V.Tube: Gloucester Rd.
